You can program Pleo using the forthcoming Pleo PDK as well as a variety of 3rd party tools. Complex Pleo programming will require a knowledge of the C programming language and a comprehensive understanding of Pawn scripting and the UGOBE Life OS.
UGOBE has started to release details about the forthcoming Pleo PDK so you can begin to learn in more detail how Pleo works.
NOTE: This is not final documentation about the PDK. These documents are really just a primer to provide experienced C programmers a basic understanding of how to write applications for Pleo.
If you're really want to start programming your Pleo now, check out YAPT: Yet Another Pleo Tool and MySkit Performance Editor for PLEO. These tools will let you create custom “skits” for Pleo on your PC such as tricks, dances, leg waves, tail wagging, sounds, etc... and then add your custom behaviors to Pleo via SD card.
If you're a programmer, engineer, other otherwise technically inclined, visit the Pleo TechTalk Forum to discuss hardware & software topics related to Pleo, Life OS and companion robotics.
See examples of what you can do when you program Pleo's behavior.
